Summer Hill - Junior at Cal Univ of PA
Former Honesdale High School distance running star Summer Hill is off to a stellar start to her 2016 cross country campaign.
A junior at California University of Pennsylvania, Hill kicked-off the season with a first place overall finish at the 45th Annual Marty Uher Invitational.
Summer covered the 3K course in a blistering time of 11:20.2, good for a 15-second cushion over her closest competitor.
Hill’s performance helped lead the Vulcans to a season opening win over Wheeling Jesuit by a score of 24-32.
Summer is a returning Second Team All-American runner who also earned First Team All-America status this past spring in track & field.
